We are excited to announce that we are now taking appointments for our Northbrook location.

In September, ACSN staff embarked on a three month long fundraiser to support victims of domestic violence. Every Friday, ACSN staff could "purchase" the opportunity to dress out of uniform and support their favorite sports team for a small donation to A Safe Place. 

Did you know that 61% of low-income families do not have any books in their home for their children? ACSN wants to help put books in the hands of children that need them so we're teaming up with Bernie's Book Bank to hold a children's book drive and we would love for patients and community members to participate too.

Several of our staff got into the Halloween (and football) spirit by dressing up in their finest Chicago Bears gear.

At ACSN, family is important. Our first ever family picnic was a huge success! A great time was had by all who attended. If you look closely you may be able to spot someone you know!

ACSN is coming to Barrington! Dr. Juan Alzate and Dr. Sheri Dewan will have appointments available at the Barrington location for new patients. The office is located at 300 Fox Glen Court, just 1/2 mile west of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.

ACSN is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Sheri Dewan to our group. Dr. Dewan completed her graduate degree in Neuroscience at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She then pursued her medical degree at The Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

We may have a new name, but our trusted neurosurgeons and friendly staff are providing the same excellent care. Lake County Neurosurgery officially changed to The American Center for Spine & Neurosurgery on November 28th, 2011.
